fall chops and tasty oven fries

We have had 5 extra people around the table the last week or so and it has given me an opportunity to try some new recipes I have been wanting to make. We served this for supper last night and it was a huge hit; the 9 year old wanted seconds on his seconds!

Oven Barbequed Pork Chops

8 pork chops cut 1” thick
1 cup ketchup
¼ cup prepared horseradish
¼ cup brown sugar
1 tsp. prepared mustard
Dash of Worchestershire sauce
Coarse salt and fresh ground pepper

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Arrange chops on foil lined cookie sheet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake in oven until chops are lightly browned. Mix together other ingredients and coat chops with it, baking another 20 minutes or until completely done.

Tasty Oven Fries

Scrub and quarter potatoes, leaving on the skin. In pan, toss with generous amount of olive oil and sprinkle well with garlic salt, paprika, parsley flakes, and fresh-ground pepper. Cover with foil and bake in 450 degree oven for 1 hour. Be careful when you remove the foil because the steam will be HOT!
